- Do we need to book appointment to visit your store to try on Communion / flower girl dresses or boys suits?
- As we are in the middle of our busiest time of the year, appointment is required to reserve one of our fitting rooms. You can book one is here:
- I can't see any slots on the day that would suit me, on your booking page.
- If you don't see any available slots, that means we are fully booked on that day. You may consider other dates, or request to be put on our cancellations waiting list, by emailing formalwear4kids@yahoo.ie.
- I have a dress reserved/ordered in store. Do I need to book appointment for collecting it?
- If you are only picking it up without trying, you can pop in any time during our opening hours. If you need a changing room to try it on, please book "Final Fitting/Collection" appointment here. Please put your order number in the notes, when booking, and have it with you, when collecting. You can find your order number in the text message we sent you on the day when you were ordering/reserving it. (If the dress was being ordered in for you, please ensure you received a text message from us about its arrival, before calling)
- Do we need to book appointment for shoes / accessories / christening wear?
- No, you don't need appointment for shoes / accessories / christening wear. Call in any time during our opening hours Tuesday to Saturday 10-6.
- I tried ringing your phone number 0879076038 but could not reach.
- We are extremely busy looking after our customers in the shop, and unfortunately can't answer phone calls anymore. Our voicemail is not monitored either. Please book appointment on our website here. For all other queries please email formalwear4kids@yahoo.ie, and we'll try our best to get back to you within 2 working days.
- Where are you based?
- Our Leanai shop is inside the Left Bank Mall, which is in Pearse Street, Athlone, eircode N37 R2Y1
- Do you take deposits?
- Yes we do. You can pay 50 euro deposit on a dress of your choice, and you can pay the balance and pick it up whenever you are ready.
- Do you have the dress I have seen on your website, in your shop?
- Our stock rotates daily, some sizes sell, and others arrive. You can check stock in real time on our website. Sizes/options highlighted in blue, are in stock this very minute, and the ones that are not, have to be ordered in.
- How long will it take for delivery if I order online?
- When you click on the item/colour/size, it will show you whether this is in stock in our Athlone shop (will be shipped to you within 1-2 days), or it's a 10-14 days pre-order item, or 4-6 weeks pre-order item. Once it ships, you will receive an email with An Post tracking number, and should have it the following day. If you order multiple items, and one of them is a pre-order item, we usually wait until it comes in, and post all items together to you.
- What is your returns policy?
- You can return almost any item you bought from us for a money refund within 14 days from the day you received it, or size exchange any time between your purchase and event date. The only items that we can't take back for hygienic reason, are underwear, gloves, socks and tights.
- How do I return something I bought from you online?
- Every online order arrives with a returns/exchanges form and our address label, in case you need to return something. Choose refund or exchange by putting a tick in the corresponding box, and if exchanging, make a note what you are exchanging it for, and send it back to us using the address label provided, for your convenience. We don't refund postage fees, but if you are exchanging, we'll send replacement item at no extra cost to you. Please note, that we don't accept returns of underwear, gloves, socks and tights for hygienic reasons.
- I ordered a Communion dress instore and paid deposit, but changed my mind. Can I have my deposit back?
- You can cancel your order and have your deposit back within 14 days from the day you placed your order. After 14 days deposit is non-refundable.
- I see all your girls shoes are US sizes, which size should I go for?
- US sizes are smaller than UK sizes. We usually go a size up in these. For example, if your daughter is wearing a UK size 1, she will probably be a size 2 in our shoes.
